The overall composition of hypotonic acidic acid containing iodides positively affects the defense in terms of prevention of chronic bacterial infections of the upper respiratory tract, chronic rhinitis, sinusitis and chronic polyposis nasopharyngitis; in children it has a preventive effect against the development of recurrent tracheobronchitis and rhinitis.
