Vitabiotics Pregnacare Liquid is a dietary supplement for pregnant women and women planning to have a baby. The formula contains a set of vitamins and minerals that contribute to a woman’s reproductive ability and ensure the proper and good development of the fetus up to 12 weeks of gestation.
The formula contains 18 vitamins and minerals. It provides high-strength B-complex vitamins, vitamin D and the antioxidant vitamins C and E that help support a woman’s overall health during this important period of their lives. It also provides the necessary amount of folic acid.
Folic acid is also essential during pregnancy as meeting the recommended daily nutritional needs prevents abnormalities in the developing fetus. In particular, folic acid supplementation increases maternal folic acid levels. Low levels of folic acid in pregnant women are a risk factor for developing neural tube defects in the fetus.
