Description
TEARS NATURALE® II contains the DUASORB® system consisting of two water-soluble polymers:
1. DEXTRAN 70
2. HYPROMELLOSE
This system, mixed with the already existing tears, promotes the maceration of the cornea by correctively intervening in the insufficiency of both the aqueous and the mucous layers of the lacrimal membrane. TEARS NATURALE® II has a surface tension and viscosity similar to normal tears.
The above properties in combination with its mucin-like action, allows to restore the decay time of the lacrimal membrane (BUT) to normal frames (15-25 seconds).
Finally, the time of nasolacrimal excretion of the polymer Hypromellose has been shown to be much longer than that of other excipients, which allows for prolonged action on the ocular surface.
TEARS NATURALE® II is a sterile ophthalmic solution with an original composition. Due to the soothing and softening property of its ingredients (DUASORB®) but also due to the preservative of POLYQUAD®, it is used to relieve the eyes from mild irritations of any etiology and dry eyes.
